OUR MISSION
To
glorify God by developing healthy, reproducing
churches.
The
Wisconsin District is one of 34 districts in the United
States. Our vision is focused on four main things:
HEALTHY LEADERS
Pastors and leadership teams
are key to having healthy churches. We are committed to
growth in character and conduct, being in community with
others, and consistently and intentionally mentoring and
developing leaders.
HEALTHY CHURCHES
Churches that are healthy shine as
hopeful alternatives in a chaotic culture. They express
love in authentic and enduring relationships, experience
peace and joy even in hard times and deliver hope that
is relevant and real. They are passionate about God and
committed to bringing people into a personal
relationship with Christ.
NEW CHURCHES
Through prayer, giving, and a variety of
methodologies and creative alliances, there is a
commitment by the people and local churches to multiply
congregations.
NEW DISTRICTS
Our local churches and
district are committed to providing resources, people
and focus to help establish new churches and new
districts in other places around the world.
OUR CORE VALUES
· We
value healthy churches that are passionate about
bringing glory to God, wholeness to people, and hope to
the world.
· We
value reproducing churches that invest in Great
Commission ministry beyond their doors, in our Judea
(Communities) Samaria (Wisconsin), and beyond (The
World).
· We
value freedom and flexibility for each church to develop
its ministry for maximum impact in the local context.
· We
value leaders and churches that are committed to
bringing people to Christ and leading them to be fully
surrendered, holy followers of Christ.
· We
value leaders who are passionately committed to
developing and planting healthy, reproducing churches.
· We
value leaders with depth of character, spiritual
maturity and authenticity.
· We
value leaders who are committed to quality education,
have a desire for lifelong, intentional personal growth,
and who are desirous of being in community (small group)
for encouragement and accountability.
· We
value personal and corporate stewardship of the
resources God has entrusted to us.
· We
value excellence, believing that God deserves our best
in response to His grace offered to us.
· We
value our Wesleyan heritage with its Biblical
(theological) integrity, cultural relevancy and
spiritual fervency.
· We
value unity, mutual accountability and cooperative
ministry, believing that together we really are
stronger.
